Sealing rings for rotating shafts
Sealing rings for rotating shafts are constructed from a body generally made of elastomer with a sealing lip, reinforced by a metal ring and energised by a spiral spring also made of metal.
Application sectors:
- Oil seal, grease in gearboxes such as gearboxes, electric motors, etc.
DV RINGS
The DV rings are made of TPU 93 polyurethane which gives these sealing elements particular characteristics of resistance to wear even in the presence of very abrasive mud or dust. Like all urethane resins, even the material used for DV rings does not tolerate very high speeds. The peripheral speed must therefore not exceed 1 m / sec.
VA-VS RINGS
Normally made of nitrile rubber, these small-size rings represent the most widespread elements for the protection of bearings with the dual function of containing lubricants and as a barrier to the entry of dust, water or sludge.
S-TRC/S-TRP
PTFE-Bronze seal energized by O-Ring. Particularly suitable for bidirectional sealing on hydraulic rotating parts, advantageous due to the low friction coefficient. Avoid stick-slip and mechanical shock after periods of inactivity.
The Bonded Seal seals consist of a vulcanized synthetic rubber element inside a suitably treated metal ring.
Fields of use:
- Seal for joints, fittings or flanges of all fluids compatible with nitrile rubber.
